The workshop will be held for one day and will consist of a program aimed at generating discussions around key themes related to the workshop topic. The program will be divided into technical sessions which consist of some presentations, aimed at stimulating a broader discussion on the session theme, and some amount of time allocated to open discussion. There are both long and short presentations. Short presentations include novel ideas that may stimulate discussion and lead to new areas of investigation.

The workshop features two invited talk addressing relevant hot/emerging topics that has not been addressed by papers accepted for the workshop. Previous invited speakers at the workshop included: Paul Lamere, Peter Brusilovsky, Barry Smyth and Dan O'Leary.
